Default comcast business router login
Default Comcast Business Router Responder is a script or application that enables you to log into your Comcast Business Router automatically every time. The login will be done in the user name “admin” and the password is “password”. You can change the password at any time by logging into the modem’s web interface. By default, the router also uses the IP address of the primary user.
To configure this, log on to the web interface of your modem. Under “IP Options”, you can set the IP of your default gateway and the subnet mask as well. The IP of the primary user can be changed as per your needs, while the mask is used for the purposes of preventing unauthorized access to the internal areas of your modem.
Change the password of your router, by either entering a different one or resetting the password. Once done, reboot your modem to enter the new settings. When prompted for a password, provide the default password. It is very important that you do not use your ISP password (provided to you by your ISP) for the router since it is meant for internal use only.

Use the same step to configure your alternate user name at each login. Logging in as different user names for your default IP address will ensure that you have two unique IP addresses for your internet connection and for your router. The default gateway IP address is not required at the login. It will give your network more credibility and reliability in the eyes of your customers.
Configure the Comcast Business Router to use a different gateway and modem IP as your primary IP address. When you connect to the internet, your router will automatically detect the IP address. You should not change your primary IP address when you use the alternate user name and password. This will prevent the information on your local network from being stolen by someone with the incorrect password. Your router will assign different IP addresses to different ports based on settings you set during the install of your Broadband modem. Changing the default gateway and modem IP address during installation could prevent the port from being able to recognize your connection as trusted and could consequently result in the port blocking the connection.
