If you decide to automate your Fios router’s address assignment, it would be wise to have a friend or relative to help you out. However, most people can successfully do it on their own. There are two steps to this process. First, you will need to go to the Administration tab on your Fios router. Under “routers and connections,” you will see the option to manually assign an IP address to a network interface.

Next, you will need to click on the “IP Settings” tab. From there, you will see a section that says “IP settings” and you will need to enter the IP addresses you want to associate with each computer on your network. When you are done, save all of your settings and restart your router. If your router still fails to connect, then you probably need to contact a technician.
